Do you accept demos?

Yes, we love to hear new music and are very encouraged when bands send demos. To us, it means you think enough of us to trust us with your music. Here are a few things that we are looking for:

• Great music and great art. If feasible, we prefer receiving physical copies of demos. We are music geeks and love visual art, so a nice package is always a pleasure.
• Is the band / artist willing to tour?
• How does the band / artist feel about Richard Marx?
• How much has the band / artist done on their own, without "label legitimacy"?
• Will the band / artist continue to work alongside Moon Jaw to further promote their music?
• And finally, perhaps most importantly, is the band/artist bringing something new to the proverbial table?

I write for a fanzine, magazine, website, host a radio show, DJ at a college radio station etc... Can I get promos of your releases for review/airplay?

We have a very limited supply of promos for radio and press. Please send a copy of your publication and we will consider adding you to the promo list. If you publish online, please send some URLs of your work. If you work for a radio station, please provide us with playlists, URL and some information about your station. Please submit these requests to jaw@moonjawrecords.com.

Who distributes your albums?

Moon Jaw has both physical and digital distribution through the Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA).

Can I use an MP3 on my podcast/blog?

Any MP3s that we offer as promotional downloads on our site are pre-cleared for podcasting and blogs. But, we'd love to know that you're using them. Let us know at jaw@moonjawrecords.com.

I need a hi-res photo/album art for publication. Can you send me one?
